Zero→1 Founder Terms
The terms governing your Zero→1 account, Founder Journeys and the Founder Operating System.
1. About these Terms
These Founder Terms ("Terms") govern your account, access to and use of the Zero→1 Founder Operating System, including our websites, web application, mobile applications, Founder Journeys, Founder Intelligence, Founder Memory and related services.
Zero→1 is operated by Founder Progress Ltd, trading as Zero→1 ("Zero→1", "we", "our", "us").
Founder Progress Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17333996.
Our registered office is:Suite A
82 James Carter Road
Mildenhall
IP28 7DE
United Kingdom
Email: support@zeroto1.co.uk
These Terms form a contract between you and Founder Progress Ltd when you expressly accept them as part of creating or accessing your Zero→1 account.
If you purchase access through Apple, Google or another authorised platform, additional terms imposed by that platform may also apply to the transaction.
Our Privacy Notice explains how we process personal data. Our AI & Founder Guidance Transparency Statement provides additional information about our use of artificial intelligence.
2. What Zero→1 Is
Zero→1 is a Founder Operating System designed to help founders develop their capability through structured execution.
The platform may include:
- structured Founder Journeys and Missions;
- founder exercises, activities and evidence gathering;
- Founder Intelligence and AI-assisted guidance;
- Founder Memory;
- tools for recording progress, decisions, evidence and reflections;
- business planning and documentation tools;
- content, educational materials and other founder resources.
The exact features available may depend on the Journey, access route, device, programme or version of Zero→1 you use.
Zero→1 is designed to support founders in doing the work themselves.
Founder Intelligence recommends. Founders decide.
We do not undertake to build, operate or make commercial decisions for your business.
3. Eligibility
Zero→1 is intended for people aged 16 and over.
You must not create or use a Zero→1 account if you are under 16.
If you are aged 16 or 17, you may create an account, use Zero→1 and purchase a Founder Journey yourself, subject to applicable law.
If the law applicable to you requires permission or involvement from a parent, guardian or another person for a particular activity, you are responsible for obtaining that permission before carrying out that activity.
We may introduce additional safeguards for younger founders where reasonably necessary to protect them or comply with applicable law.
If you create an account, you must provide information that is reasonably accurate and keep relevant account information up to date.
You may use Zero→1 only where doing so is lawful.
4. Your Account
Your account is personal to you unless we expressly agree otherwise.
You are responsible for:
- keeping your login credentials secure;
- taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access to your account;
- information and content submitted through your account; and
- notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
You must not sell, transfer or allow another person to use your account as their own unless we expressly permit it.
We may use authentication providers or other third-party technology to operate account access and security.
5. Ways You May Access Zero→1
You may access Zero→1 in different ways.
These may include:
Free access. Certain stages, features or content may be available without payment.
Direct purchase. You may purchase a Founder Journey directly from Zero→1.
Programme or partner access. An organisation, programme or authorised partner may provide you with an access code, invitation or funded access.
How your access was funded does not change the fundamental principle that your Zero→1 account and founder experience are governed by these Terms.
Where an organisation has sponsored or arranged your access, additional arrangements may exist between that organisation and Zero→1. Those arrangements do not give that organisation ownership of your account, Founder Memory or Founder Content.
Any visibility an organisation has into your work is governed by the applicable product settings, privacy information and contractual arrangements.
6. Founder Journeys
Zero→1 may offer one or more Founder Journeys.
A Journey may contain stages, Missions, guidance, exercises, evidence requirements, Founder Intelligence interactions and other activities.
The description shown to you before purchase identifies the Journey you are purchasing and its main characteristics.
A purchase gives you the right to access the purchased Journey in accordance with these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of Zero→1, its methodology, software, content or intellectual property to you.
We may improve the structure, presentation, technology and functionality of a Journey over time, provided that we do not make changes that unfairly or unlawfully deprive you of the essential benefit of what you purchased.
7. Free and Paid Access
Zero→1 may allow you to begin a Journey or use certain features for free.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, free access does not require you to purchase the remainder of a Journey.
Where you choose to purchase a Journey, the price and applicable purchase information will be shown before you commit to payment.
Our Founder Journeys may be offered as one-off purchases rather than recurring subscriptions.
Where a purchase is described as a one-off payment, pay once, nothing renews or equivalent wording, that purchase does not automatically renew.
We will not convert a one-off purchase into a recurring subscription without entering into a new arrangement with you and obtaining any consent required by law.
8. Prices, Taxes and Payment
The base price payable for a Journey will be displayed before you purchase it.
Applicable taxes may be added at checkout.
The final amount payable, including applicable taxes or other mandatory charges that can be calculated at that stage, will be displayed before you complete payment.
The amount of tax may depend on factors including your location and applicable tax law.
You will have the opportunity to review the final amount before placing your order.
Payments may be processed by Stripe, Apple, Google or another authorised payment provider.
The payment provider may collect and process payment information under its own terms and privacy arrangements.
Where you purchase directly from Zero→1 through our web service, Founder Progress Ltd is the trader supplying the purchased Zero→1 access unless we expressly tell you otherwise before purchase.
Where you purchase through an app store, the relevant app store's payment and transaction terms may also apply.
We do not store complete payment-card information where payment processing is handled by an authorised payment provider.
9. Placing an Order
Before you complete a direct purchase, we will show you information about the purchase, including its main characteristics, base price and the final amount payable at checkout.
You will be given an opportunity to access these Terms before committing to the purchase.
The final payment action will make clear that completing it creates an obligation to pay.
An order is accepted when we confirm the purchase or make the purchased Journey available to you, whichever occurs first.
We will provide confirmation of the contract in a durable electronic format, such as email, where required by law.
That confirmation will include or make available the information required by applicable consumer law.
10. Immediate Access and Cancellation
Zero→1 is a digital product. Purchased Founder Journey access may become available immediately after payment.
Consumers may ordinarily have a statutory cancellation period for certain online purchases.
Where you choose to receive purchased digital content immediately and applicable law requires it, before supply begins we will ask you to:
- expressly consent to Zero→1 beginning supply of the purchased digital content immediately, before the end of any applicable cancellation period; and
- acknowledge that once supply begins, you will lose the applicable statutory right to cancel that purchase.
Where valid consent and acknowledgement are given and supply begins, the statutory cancellation right will be lost to the extent provided by applicable law.
Where applicable law requires that consent and acknowledgement and we have not validly obtained them, we will not rely on these Terms to remove a cancellation right that you otherwise have.
The required consent and acknowledgement will also be reflected in the contract confirmation where required.
Nothing in this section affects statutory rights relating to faulty, misdescribed or otherwise non-conforming digital content.
11. Refunds and Statutory Rights
Zero→1 does not offer a discretionary change-of-mind refund once purchased digital content has begun to be supplied and any applicable statutory cancellation right has validly been lost.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Where applicable consumer law requires digital content to:
- be of satisfactory quality;
- be fit for a particular purpose made known to us;
- match its description; or
- otherwise conform to the contract,
those protections continue to apply.
Where the law gives you a right to a repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or another remedy, these Terms do not remove that right.
If you believe your purchased Zero→1 content or functionality is faulty, materially not as described or otherwise does not meet applicable statutory requirements, contact: support@zeroto1.co.uk
Purchases made through Apple, Google or another third-party marketplace may also be subject to the applicable marketplace's payment and refund processes.
Our decision not to offer an additional discretionary refund does not restrict any remedy you are entitled to under applicable law.
12. Founder Intelligence and Artificial Intelligence
Zero→1 includes AI-assisted functionality which we refer to as Founder Intelligence.
Founder Intelligence may help with activities including:
- founder guidance;
- Mission support;
- idea exploration;
- structured feedback;
- business planning;
- summarising founder inputs;
- identifying themes and patterns;
- reviewing evidence and progress; and
- helping prepare plans or documentation.
Founder Intelligence is designed to assist you, not replace your judgement.
AI systems can make mistakes. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, biased or inappropriate for a particular situation.
You are responsible for evaluating outputs before relying on or acting upon them.
Zero→1 does not guarantee that AI-generated information is correct or that following it will produce a particular result.
Additional information is provided in our AI & Founder Guidance Transparency Statement.
13. Professional Advice
Zero→1 provides founder development, educational information, structured execution tools and AI-assisted guidance.
Unless we expressly state otherwise in relation to a particular regulated service, Zero→1 does not provide legal, tax, accounting, investment, medical or other regulated professional advice.
Founder Intelligence does not make legal, financial, investment or commercial decisions for you.
Where a decision requires professional expertise, you should consider obtaining advice from an appropriately qualified professional.
14. Founder Agency
Founder Agency is fundamental to Zero→1.
You remain responsible for decisions concerning your business, idea, strategy, finances, customers, operations and actions.
Zero→1 may challenge assumptions, recommend actions, identify issues, provide feedback and help you interpret evidence.
It does not take ownership of the decision.
No Founder Intelligence recommendation creates an obligation for you to follow it.
15. Founder Memory
Zero→1 may use Founder Memory to maintain relevant information about your founder journey over time.
Founder Memory may include information derived from:
- your responses;
- decisions;
- reflections;
- Mission activity;
- evidence;
- business information;
- Founder Intelligence interactions; and
- other information you provide through the platform.
Founder Memory is intended to make your Zero→1 experience cumulative and context-aware rather than treating each interaction as isolated.
Founder Memory may be updated, supplemented or versioned as your thinking and evidence develop.
Our Privacy Notice explains how personal data associated with Founder Memory is processed, retained and deleted.
16. Founder Content
"Founder Content" means content that you submit, create, upload or record through Zero→1, including text, responses, documents, business plans, evidence, images, audio, video, reflections and other founder-generated material.
You retain ownership of your Founder Content.
You grant Founder Progress Ltd a non-exclusive licence to host, store, reproduce, process, analyse, transform and otherwise use Founder Content only to the extent reasonably necessary to:
- operate Zero→1;
- provide the services and features you use;
- provide Founder Intelligence;
- maintain Founder Memory;
- generate outputs requested through the platform;
- maintain security and integrity;
- comply with law; and
- improve the service where our Privacy Notice and applicable law permit us to do so.
This licence does not transfer ownership of your Founder Content to us.
You must have the rights necessary to submit Founder Content to Zero→1.
You should not knowingly submit content that unlawfully infringes another person's intellectual property, confidentiality, privacy or other rights.
17. Private and Confidential Founder Information
We recognise that founders may submit commercially sensitive information about ideas, customers, markets, finances, strategies and businesses.
We will handle Founder Content in accordance with these Terms, our Privacy Notice and the security and access controls applicable to the platform.
We do not acquire ownership of your business idea merely because you describe or develop it using Zero→1.
Where programme or sponsored access applies, Zero→1 will provide information about what founder information, if any, is visible to the relevant organisation.
You remain responsible for deciding what confidential information belonging to third parties you are legally entitled to submit.
18. Zero→1 Intellectual Property
Zero→1 and its licensors retain all intellectual property rights in the platform and its underlying materials, including:
- the Zero→1 brand;
- Founder Operating System;
- Founder Journeys;
- Mission architecture;
- software;
- platform design;
- methodologies;
- prompts and system architecture;
- educational content;
- graphics;
- templates; and
- other Zero→1 materials.
Your purchase gives you a personal right to use the purchased product in accordance with these Terms. It does not transfer ownership of Zero→1 intellectual property.
You may use outputs and materials generated specifically from your own Founder Content for your own business purposes, subject to any third-party rights and the limitations stated in these Terms.
19. Acceptable Use
You must not use Zero→1 to:
- break applicable law;
- infringe another person's rights;
- submit malware or harmful code;
- attempt unauthorised access to systems, accounts or data;
- circumvent security or access controls;
- scrape or systematically extract substantial parts of Zero→1 without permission;
- reverse engineer the platform except where applicable law expressly permits it;
- use another person's account without authority;
- impersonate another person;
- use the platform to harm, threaten, harass or defraud others; or
- use Zero→1 in a manner that materially interferes with the platform or other founders' use of it.
We may take proportionate action where these requirements are breached.
20. Platform Availability
We aim to provide a reliable Founder Operating System, but we do not promise that Zero→1 will be available continuously or without error.
Access may occasionally be interrupted because of:
- maintenance;
- security incidents;
- technical failures;
- third-party infrastructure;
- updates;
- legal or regulatory requirements; or
- events outside our reasonable control.
Where reasonably practicable, we will seek to minimise material disruption.
Nothing in this section limits rights that applicable consumer law gives you where the digital product does not conform to the contract.
21. Product and Technology Evolution
Zero→1 will evolve.
We may update:
- features;
- user interfaces;
- Founder Journeys;
- Founder Intelligence;
- AI models and providers;
- technical infrastructure;
- prompts and reasoning architecture;
- security systems; and
- other elements of the platform.
This allows us to maintain and improve Zero→1 without requiring a new contract every time the underlying technology changes.
We will not rely on this provision to make changes that unfairly or unlawfully deprive you of the essential benefit of something you have purchased.
Where a change materially affects your contractual rights and applicable law requires notice or consent, we will provide it.
22. Third-Party Services
Zero→1 relies on third-party services including hosting, authentication, payments, analytics, communications and AI technology.
Third-party services may be governed by their own terms where you interact with them directly.
Our use of third parties does not remove responsibilities we have to you under applicable law.
Information about processing of personal data by service providers is addressed in our Privacy Notice.
23. Suspension
We may temporarily restrict or suspend access where reasonably necessary to:
- protect Zero→1, founders or third parties from security threats;
- investigate suspected misuse;
- prevent unlawful activity;
- comply with a legal obligation;
- address a material breach of these Terms; or
- protect the integrity of the platform.
Where appropriate and lawful, we will seek to act proportionately and provide notice.
Suspension does not affect statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
24. Closing and Deleting Your Account
You may stop using Zero→1 at any time.
You can delete your account using the self-service Delete Account function available in Settings.
Deleting your account will initiate our account-deletion process.
Deletion of an account does not necessarily require immediate deletion of every record. We may retain information where, and for as long as, we have a lawful basis or legal obligation to do so, including where records are reasonably required for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting or dispute purposes.
Our Privacy Notice explains our retention and deletion arrangements and your applicable data-protection rights.
Deleting your account does not itself create a right to a refund for a Founder Journey already purchased.
Any statutory rights or remedies that apply to your purchase remain unaffected.
If we permanently discontinue purchased access for reasons unrelated to your breach, applicable consumer rights and any remedy required by law will continue to apply.
25. No Guarantee of Business Success
Entrepreneurship involves uncertainty and risk.
Zero→1 does not guarantee that:
- your idea will become a viable business;
- customers will purchase from you;
- you will obtain funding;
- you will make revenue or profit;
- your business will succeed; or
- a particular commercial outcome will occur.
The purpose of the Founder Operating System is to help you work systematically, gather evidence, develop founder capability and make better-informed decisions.
Results remain dependent on circumstances beyond our control and the decisions and actions taken by founders.
26. Our Responsibility to You
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts mandatory consumer rights.
If you are a consumer, we are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these Terms or our failure to use reasonable care and skill where applicable law requires that responsibility.
Loss or damage is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach or if both you and we knew it might happen when the contract was made.
We are not responsible for business decisions that you make merely because you used information, tools or Founder Intelligence provided through Zero→1, except to the extent that applicable law makes us responsible.
Zero→1 is designed for founders and prospective founders. Depending on why you use Zero→1, you may use it as a consumer or for purposes relating to an existing trade, business, craft or profession. Your legal rights may differ accordingly.
We do not exclude or limit liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any other liability that cannot legally be excluded or restricted.
27. Privacy
Our processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Notice.
The Privacy Notice explains, among other things:
- what information we collect;
- why we process it;
- the lawful bases we rely upon;
- who receives information;
- international transfers;
- retention;
- Founder Memory;
- account deletion;
- your rights; and
- how to contact us about privacy.
Privacy information is not intended to reduce any rights you have under applicable data-protection law.
28. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms where reasonably necessary, including because of:
- changes to Zero→1;
- new functionality;
- changes in law or regulation;
- security requirements; or
- changes to our operating model.
We will not use this right to make arbitrary changes that unfairly alter the bargain relating to a purchase you have already made.
Where a change is material, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate and where required by law.
The current version and effective date will be made available through Zero→1.
We will maintain appropriate records of the versions governing founder accounts and purchases.
29. Complaints and Support
If something goes wrong or you have a complaint about Zero→1, please contact: support@zeroto1.co.uk
Please provide enough information for us to understand and investigate the issue.
We will seek to investigate and respond within a reasonable period.
Nothing in our complaints process prevents you from exercising rights available under applicable law.
If applicable law requires us to provide information about an alternative dispute resolution mechanism, we will provide that information.
30. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer resident elsewhere, you may also benefit from mandatory protections provided by the laws of the country in which you live. Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove those protections where they apply.
The courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, except where applicable mandatory consumer law gives you the right to bring proceedings elsewhere.
31. General
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
If we delay exercising a contractual right, that does not necessarily mean we have waived it.
You may not transfer your personal Zero→1 account to another person without our agreement.
We may transfer our rights and obligations where reasonably necessary as part of a reorganisation, sale, transfer or restructuring of the business, provided doing so does not reduce mandatory rights you have under these Terms.
Nothing in these Terms creates a partnership, employment relationship, agency or joint venture between you and Founder Progress Ltd.
